A few weeks ago, Raechel and Amanda from She Reads Truth connected to record a podcast with me as part of their Prayers of Scripture series. Our episode went live TODAY, November 21! We had a delightful conversation exploring some of the prayers we find imbedded in the stories of the Bible. From the thief on the cross at his lowest moment, to the faithful Daniel asking for collective forgiveness, and so much more, we found ourselves encouraged and inspired as we reflected on the compassion and mercy of God. If you are new here, you’ll likely notice how out-of-date this site is. I promise I am a writer! But my primary blog for the last three or so years is found over at Patheos. I call it The Estuary, a place to explore the intersection of faith, culture, and art—a description that gives me a long runway to including lots of different content. Raechel and Amanda were kind enough to mention my latest book that will be released January 17, 2023. A couple of weeks ago I received my author copies (See below, eek!), and they were also sold at the Evangelical Theological Society‘s Annual Meeting last week. Nothing says “Bible Nerd Girl” more than spending a week with theology professors and writers. As my Instagram pics show, it was fabulous.
